Dr. Ewa Schafer, MD
Dr. Ewa Schafer earned her medical degree in 2002 at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Schafer completed her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and Children’s Memorial Hospital. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts - Isenberg School of Management.
Dr. Schafer is a practicing Allergist Immunologist at Endeavor Health. She also serves as the Executive Vice Chair for the Department of Medicine and the Division Head of Allergy and Immunology at Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals. She is the Co-Director for the Comprehensive Sinus and Allergy program and is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. In her role she is involved in the training of internal medicine, family medicine and pediatric residents. Dr. Schafer serves on numerous national committees. She serves as Co-Chair of the AAAAI Practice Management & Integrative Medicine Committees.
Dr. Schafer is passionate about caring for patients, training those that will take care of patients and mentoring the clinical leaders that care for those that take care of patients. In her free time Dr. Schafer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and 2 labrador retrievers.
