ABAI Announces Cecilia Walters, MIS, as Executive Director of Information Technology

Cecilia Walters is the American Board of Allergy and Immunology’s newly promoted Executive Director of Information Technology.
She graduated from the University of Sierra Leone with a BA in English Language and Sociology and recently earned a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix. With more than 18 years of experience in technology management, she brings substantial expertise to the ABAI.
Over the years, Cecilia has supported the development, implementation, and maintenance of ABAI’s IT systems, including website design and upgrades, the interactive web portal, the database, and office technology systems. She has also played a key role in the development and ongoing evolution of the Continuous Assessment Program (CAP). Her expertise includes information systems governance, strategic planning, cybersecurity implementation, and project management, and she continues to drive technology innovation that supports organizational growth and operational excellence.
