Become an ABAI Director

ABAI will begin accepting self-nominations to become an ABAI Director. Directors are responsible for representing the ABAI in various local, regional, national presentations and meetings, writing and/or peer reviewing item questions for the Certification, Maintenance of Certification (MOC) and Continuous Assessment Programs (CAP) while serving in other leadership roles throughout their tenure. New directors are elected to their position by current ABAI Board members, and will serve a six-year term, which is non-renewable.

All diplomates who are actively certified and currently meeting MOC requirements are eligible. In keeping with our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, the ABAI continues to seek increased representation from diplomates who may be early in their career, underrepresented in medicine population, from central & western regions and/or trained in osteopathic medicine.
