Timeline of MOC Requirements:
Certificate Expires 12/31/2022
Listed below you will find a timeline of all requirements for the ABAI MOC program. These requirements must be completed on or before December 31st of the year they are due, in order to be reported as "Meeting MOC Requirements." Documentation can be submitted to the ABAI office through January 31st of the following year. However, if the requirements are incomplete after January 31st (of the following year) and the certificate has expired, the diplomate will also be responsible for completing the annual MOC requirements of the current year before a new certificate is issued.
2013
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2013.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 25 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013.
2014
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2014.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 50 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2014.
2015
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2015.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 75 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2015.
2016
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2016.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 100 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2016.
2017
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2017.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 125 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2017.
- Recent Advances: Successfully complete the ABAI Recent Advances module via the ABAI Web Portal. The module is offered twice a year.
- Practice Assessment/Quality Improvement: Complete one activity of your choice from the list of ABAI-approved activities.
2018
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2018.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 150 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2018.
2019
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2019.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 175 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2019.
2020
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2020.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 200 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2020.
2021
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2021.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 225 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2021.
2022
- Medical License: Submit current copies of all valid, current, unrestricted medical licenses to ABAI. Licenses must expire on or after 12/31/2022.
- MOC Fee: Remit payment of $150 via the ABAI Web Portal or check.
- CME Credits: Submit documentation of a total of 250 AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit(s) in allergy/immunology-related activities completed in 2013-2022.
- Recent Advances: Successfully complete the ABAI Recent Advances module via the ABAI Web Portal. The module is offered twice a year.
- Practice Assessment/Quality Improvement: Complete one activity of your choice from the list of ABAI-approved activities.
- Patient Safety: Complete an ABAI-approved Patient Safety Module.
- Communication: Complete one Communication Module of your choice.
- Secure Examination: Pass the Maintenance of Certification secure examination.
