ABAI Honors Outgoing Chair and Welcomes 2024 Board Leaders

During the November 2023 ABAI Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors honored the outgoing Chair of the Board.
Dr. Princess Ogbogu, outgoing Chair, was celebrated for her leadership of the Board navigating multiple challenges throughout the year including completion of the first ever 5-year CAP cycle, major bylaws revisions and advances in diversity and inclusion initiatives. Dr. Ogbogu served with distinction as the first African American Chair of the Board extending the unending tradition of visionary leadership by consecutive Chairs of the Board.
ABAI is equally proud to announce that Dr. Mitchell Lester, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors will begin service as Chair on January 1, 2024. Current Chair-Elect, Dr. Jay Lieberman, will serve as Vice Chair and begin service as Chair on January 1, 2025. The ABAI Board of Directors is also pleased to announce the election of Dr. Julie Wang as the incoming Vice-Chair Elect and future Chair in 2026.
